The point when folks are battling to nourish and dress their children, purchasing school supplies appears insignificant. A large portion of these children come to class without the supplies important to do their class work. Without even the most fundamental supplies, by what means would we be able to anticipate that youngsters will take in and plan for the future?
More than 16 million U.S. children live below the poverty line. Most teachers spend $500 - $1,000 per year to purchase supplies for their students and classrooms. Educators and principals report that when children have the supplies they need, test scores climb, non-attendance drops, disruptive classroom conduct decreases.
